Handle your office PDF routine on one screen
To handle your office document routine in one place, open ConverteJá’s Edit PDF: it accepts PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and images at the same time, merges everything into a single PDF and brings together editing, signing, redaction, forms, page organization, watermarks, page numbers and password protection. Changes show up in the preview and are applied all at once when you save.
The problem: one site for every step
The typical office PDF routine goes like this: convert the Word file to PDF on one site, merge it with the scan on another, sign it on a third, compress it to fit in an email on a fourth. At every step you upload the file, wait, download the result and start over. That means lost minutes, files scattered across your downloads folder and the risk of sending the wrong version.
The idea: one screen, one save
Edit PDF was designed for this workflow. In the side menu you switch between Edit, Comment, Sign, Redact, Form, Pages, Document and Protect; the top bar holds the tools for each category. Everything you do shows up in the preview, and the final PDF is generated only once, when you click Save PDF.
Step by step with a real case: the hiring package
Imagine putting together the package for a new contract: the contract in Word, a proof of address as a photo and a PDF with registration details.
- Open all three files at once. ConverteJá converts the Word file and the photo and merges everything into a single PDF, with the new files at the end.
- In Pages, reorder anything out of place, delete the blank page and rotate the photo that came out sideways.
- In Form or Edit, fill in the missing details and, in Sign, add the signature in the right fields.
- In Redact, truly hide the tax ID and the account number on the proof before sharing.
- In Document, apply page numbers and a Confidential watermark and, in Protect, set a password.
- Click Save PDF and download a single file, ready to send.
When a standalone tool still makes sense
The workspace covers the day-to-day, but the separate tools remain useful for one-off tasks and format conversions. For a single step, such as merging PDFs or compressing a file, the dedicated page is more direct. To convert a PDF to Word, Excel or PowerPoint, use the matching conversion tool.
Best practices for a routine without rework
A few habits save you from going back after you save:
- Organize the pages first and only then sign or number them, so numbers and signatures end up in the right place.
- Use Redact, not a cover-up rectangle, to hide personal data: redaction truly removes the content.
- Keep the original file and save the result under a clear name, such as client-contract-final.pdf.
- Compress last, if the file is still too heavy for email or the portal.
Privacy and limits
Uploaded files and results are automatically deleted from the server after about 1 hour. The editor adds elements on top of the page and lets you cover or redact passages; to rewrite the original text of a PDF, the most reliable route is to convert it to Word, edit it and export it back. If something does not turn out as expected, get in touch.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to convert each file before opening it in the editor?
No. You can open PDFs, Office documents and images together: ConverteJá converts whatever is not a PDF and merges everything into a single document before editing.
How many conversions does Edit PDF use?
One. You can make as many changes as you like, and everything is applied at once when you click Save PDF.
Is the original file modified?
No. You download a new PDF with your changes, and the file you uploaded stays exactly as it was.
