Edit PDF online: a complete editor in your browser

ConverteJá’s Edit PDF puts everything you need to modify a document on a single screen: in the side menu you switch between Edit, Comment, Sign, Redact, Form, Pages, Document and Protect, and each category shows its tools in the top bar.

You add text, images and shapes, highlight passages, sign, permanently erase sensitive information, create and fill form fields, rotate, reorder and delete pages, apply watermarks, page numbers and cropping and, if you like, protect the file with a password. Everything shows up in the preview before saving, and the final PDF is generated in one go.

Built for office routines: instead of one site to edit, another to sign and a third to compress, you do it all here. You can also open PDFs, Office documents (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and images at the same time: ConverteJá converts everything, merges it into a single PDF and you work on it in one go, without downloading and re-uploading the file at every step.

When to use this tool

  • Completing documents that have no fillable fields and adding logos, stamps and signatures.
  • Reviewing reports with highlights, drawings and notes.
  • Permanently erasing personal data before sharing a file.
  • Turning a regular PDF into a form with text fields, checkboxes and drop-down lists.
  • Fixing rotated, out-of-order or unnecessary pages and numbering the result.
  • Marking a document as confidential and protecting it with a password.

Tips for a good result

  • Use Redact, not a covering rectangle, to hide information: redaction truly removes the content, while a shape only covers it.
  • Select several pages in the thumbnails with Ctrl or Shift to rotate, move or delete them all at once.
  • Shortcuts: Ctrl+Z undoes, Ctrl+Y redoes, Delete removes the selected item and the arrow keys nudge its position.
  • Review the result before sharing, especially the alignment of elements and the redacted pages.

Frequently asked questions

Can I change text that is already in the PDF?

The editor adds new elements on top of the page and lets you cover or redact passages. To rewrite the original content, the most reliable path is to convert to Word, edit and export back to PDF.

Does each change count as a conversion?

No. You can combine as many changes as you like: when you click Save PDF everything is applied at once and counts as a single conversion.

Is the original file modified?

No. You download a new PDF with the changes, and the uploaded file stays as it was.

Do I need to sign up?

No. You can use the tool without an account, within the daily limit of the free plan.

What are the limits of the free plan?

The free plan allows 10 conversions per day, with files up to 60 MB and no sign-up required. The Premium plan removes the daily limit and the ads.
