Merge PDF: combine multiple files into a single document

Merging PDFs is one of the most common office tasks: a contract with its attachments, a report split into chapters, receipts that need to go out in a single email. With ConverteJá you select the files, set the order and download one finished PDF, without installing anything.

Each file shows a preview of its first page, so you can check that you picked the right document before combining. The final order follows the order in which the files appear in the list.

When to use this tool

  • Bundling a contract, its amendments and personal documents into a single email.
  • Assembling a report from chapters written by different people.
  • Combining invoices, bills and receipts for an expense report.
  • Joining pages that were scanned separately into one continuous document.

Tips for a good result

  • Name the files in the order you want before uploading (01, 02, 03). That saves time when sorting.
  • If a PDF is password-protected, remove the protection first with the Unlock PDF tool.
  • If the merged file is too large to attach, use Compress PDF to shrink it.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a limit on how many files I can merge?

You can combine up to 20 files at a time, each up to 60 MB. For larger sets, merge in batches and then combine the results.

Does merging change the quality of the original PDFs?

No. Pages are copied into the new document without being recompressed, so text and images stay exactly as in the original.

Can I merge a PDF with images?

First turn the images into a PDF with the Image to PDF tool, then merge everything here.

What are the limits of the free plan?

The free plan allows 10 conversions per day, with files up to 60 MB and no sign-up required. The Premium plan removes the daily limit and the ads.
